oh man I'm falling sick during CHINESE new year.

3 days of the 5 day break gone. and I'm so getting used to waking up at 11am every day. damn.

and haven't gotten any work done as usual. nevermind at least I can blame that on my falling sick. [but then I've managed to finish fellowship in a day again ._.]

and once sunday's gone it's back to the monotony again. meh.

blah 've been quite depressed these few days thinking about life after death school - can't believe that this'll be my last year in RI/RJ [and like I so miss RI life]. plus there's this huge cloud of uncertainty hanging over me - NS [argh] and uni / scholarship applications [meh] - no idea what to do about them / what I'm gonna do in uni / where to go to / what to do after uni. so these questions make things kinda stressful. plus you have things like CT1 / prelims which I'm quite certain of messing up [especially thanks to GP]. and why did I even take H3 geo in the first place. blah. and of course there's this general feeling of inadequacy / that I'm not good enough and that I'll screw things up [my essay-writing skills are crap really. as can be seen from this blog lol. and my transcripts/records aren't all that spectacular either]. and that I won't get into (insert university name here) and/or I'll mess things up after I get in / won't be able to compete and all that. so in a sense there's this fear that well I'm not as good as I used to be / as I'm supposed to be / as I thought I'd be / as what everyone else sees of me. well this is the real world I guess. time to get out of the system [and move on into another one ._.] so as always things will come to pass and we'll see how things go when we get there. but still that doesn't help the worrying for now.

wow this is a very very very very very long-overdue post.

so let's see what happened so far.

but first things first where did I leave off XD.
oh yes EPIC MODERATION!
basically since english ended up with an overall 5.2% mod I have NINE 4.0s and a wonderful 2.8 in HCL. =D

seriously I'm epic.

so like 3.88 again [which was quite surprising, but then again last year the only reason why I got 3.88 and not 3.84 was a mod to SS]. just that this year my scores are quite lol.

hmm anyway after that GRAD CEREMONY - oh fine the final assembly - was incredibly retarded/fun. I mean after all it WAS our last assembly so we took the opportunity to sing along to the staff procession XD. [well when they were on their way out XD]. and of course since we didn't have any hats to throw people started throwing ties. which somehow escalated into people. which was still incredibly fun.

hmm yeah but it was quite sad come to think of it - I mean like next year there'll be weird people [read: RGS] joining us and all that. haiz.

then grad dinner was epically fail. but who cares at least we all got to camwhore. =D

and that reminds me I will REFUSE to upload my grad dinner photos until at least next year. cos everyone uploads them altogether so there's like a whole mess of them and it's nothing special and all that.

oh and before grad dinner was HCL O's. which went kinda badly cos I didn't understand most of the lijie questions - but then again I never do. oh and apparently I screwed up baozhang too. but niu was damn nice cos she threw a party for us after the paper. =D

seriously I have too many nice teachers.

oh great now I can't remember what I did in the week after HCL Os. I know there was a geogRA BBQ somewhere which ended up in me getting epically lost [cos I don't like east coast/asking for directions] - essentially I ended up getting off like 20 stops later or sth. but seriously ECP SUCKS.

ok now that explains ONE day.

ok fine there was nov camp prep. but that only explains like 2 or 3 days of stuff.
and I know that there was ZD somewhere in which I epically screwed up because I didn't mug [but then again I never do] but still you HAVE to mug for languages so I'm not exactly very sure about taking H1 german but heck. oh and cos I fell to pieces during oral ._.

but up to now I still haven't collected my results so...

anyway what happened after that... november camp was FUN. just that it was too short.
but it was interesting trying to sleep in RC campsite and only getting 30 min of it.

and spamming deep heat is good.
and note to self: stop trying to do everything and step back for once.

ok so after november camp there was stuff like VIP CS1 and eh wait CS1 was before nov camp [which was why I ended up missing most/all the post-CS1 meetings and therefore ended up being hauled out during CS2 and yeah whatever but either way it was stupid]. oh so after VIP CS2 was stuff like AGM and another meeting which was like what 10am to 7pm? cos it was evac practice followed by FLAG PAINTING! at the esplanade underpass no less. which was really very epic. then after that I had to go to IKEA to look for tealights ._.

just that it turned out there were already some in the campsite so it was kinda like a wasted trip. boo. so after that was a whole bunch of other meetings and then VIP camp.

which was actually quite slack/useless [compared to normal standards]. I mean like discipline was ... even though abdul was PWO and stuff. but I hate getting blasted by maams.

note to self 2: stop taking blastings so seriously - they aren't shouting/screaming at you but more like all the other idiots in the group [of which there are too many]

only thing good was well I got evac gold! [in like less than 5h?] oh and we got like what 3h of sleep each night [or less]. so after the camp I ended up sleeping 15h. and waking up at 3pm the next day.

but seriously the camp wasn't that remarkable. AND I HATE CAMPFIRES. AND ARMY STRETCHERS. AND EVIL ROADS THAT KILL YOUR HANDS WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO DO HUMAN STRETCHER WITH A BUNCH OF GIRLS (I STILL HAVE THE SCARS DAMMIT). AND STUPID PEOPLE LIKE ___________. AND PEOPLE WITHOUT A SENSE OF URGENCY. UGH. OH AND I HATE EAST COAST PARK! whee.

but VIP was really only fun cos of (some of) the people there.

ok so now that VIP is over, after I submitted my camp report [which was full of 1. bullsh*t 2. smoke 3. politically correct stuff 4. long rambling sentences 5. nothing] and well went for the ops AGM thing which was a waste of time and then went for a super long dinner with the VIs which was really quite fun but ended up with me reaching home at 11+ and getting my mum pissed off.

oh and speaking of ops agm thingy we were supposed to be at campsite at 1230. so I woke up at 9. and then fell asleep. and woke up at 905 [cos of the snooze thing on my handphone], turn the snooze function off and decided to sleep a bit more. and then ended up waking up at 1139. so after a VERY mad rush I managed to reach campsite at like what 1235? and that was after missing an LRT, a bus and a train. whee.

ok so yeah now effectively I have nothing much to do.

so I shall just do as many as I can until I run out of things to say.


1. I'm actually a VERY boring person. I mean my life is basically stay in school and stone, then get home, shower/eat, go on msn, blogsurf, read random stuff online [mainly wikipedia] then go sleep. and repeat 5 days a week. saturdays and sundays are usually spent making up for sleep debt.

2. I am VERY opinionated. as in either I like something [2Q, 4H, frankenberg, RLP, OIP] or hate it to the core [RIPB, certain CCAs, certain people etc]. so yes I'm very biased.

3. I have a horrible memory/thought process. so like during a class I can be listening and suddenly get distracted and think of something else and then I realised that I totally didn't hear what the teacher was saying. and then well I keep forgetting stuff. and my thoughts like jump over the place. and ironically to quote some people "I think too much".

4. I do NOT like approaching strangers [as can be evidenced from mock geotrail and all sorts of other things]. I have some weird/innate fear of like people whom I don't know. so really I don't say much [if anything at all] to weird people.

5. however [and strangely] on the other hand once you get to know me you'll find that I talk way too much. and at the wrong time too [e.g. during HCL and then of course I'll speak in english and get scolded by NY]

6. I like being around people/having people to talk to [see 5]. plus I tend to go emo [albeit for VERY short periods of time] when left alone. XD.

7. I gossip a lot. but then again [and seriously this should be a separate point but whatever] if you tell me something and ASK me not to tell everyone else about it I will. strangely enough no one seems to believe me. XD. but then again I do talk too much.

8. I have HORRIBLE mood swings. well fine not exactly mood swings but then my emotions are quite volatile. like one moment I can be shouting at people and the next laughing. but generally I tend to be in quite a good mood most of the time.
unless you piss me off and I scream at you.

9. I speak too quickly. or too slowly. and apparently in a very monotonous fashion too. depending on who you ask though. but then again I tend to get nervous in front of large crowds of strangers [i.e. announcements during morning assembly].

10. my handwriting is [or rather can be] ATROCIOUS. especially for humanities essays. so like last year I think 4 teachers complained about my handwriting during the eoy [for both SS papers - and ms goh even told mrs chee about it as well as for the last section of geog - which warranted two reminders - one at the start and another at the end]

11. I have weird cravings for food. well mainly sweet stuff. but then sometimes I crave meat. and I eat a lot. and seriously I don't care if what I eat is unhealthy as long as it tastes good. =D

12. so from 11 I don't really care much about my weight/appearance anyway. and well by extension I don't worry much about things. so I usually tend to be very carefree and/or happy and stuff. =D

13. I am a stickler for grammar. and FONTS. so like I hate round brackets (i.e. these things) cos they look UGLY. oh and in case you haven't noticed - you must be blind - I tend to overuse dashes and square brackets [i.e. another sign of my thoughts running all over the place]. and I ramble too much.

[oh crap I'm running out of things to write. well actually I've forgotten what I wanted to say just now. damn.]
14. I can swear a lot if I feel like it.

15. I am a slacker [as seen from point 1]. however most people refuse to believe me. well at least I procrastinate a LOT.

16. I'm a little crazy. or very crazy [depending on your definition of crazy in the first place]. but then again aren't we all? ok this doesn't seem to make sense. but whatever.

17. I am still running out of things to say. wait that isn't actually a point. well oh I sometimes I don't really care about a lot of things or rather I don't let things bother me. or maybe I pretend to not let these things bother me. well yeah at times I can just not care about a lot of things - or rather a lot of minor things - but then in actual fact I do have things which/people whom I do care about. so there. so yes most of the time I tend to not be bothered by things [or maybe I pretend not to]. wait I'm rambling/not making sense again.

18. all in all I am [or rather I can be] a very nice person most of the time. as long as I don't hate you. but then again I tend to hate whole groups of people so it tends to be a 'guilt by association' thing so seriously once I get to know you well who knows? but seriously I lack this inclination to be evil/do genuinely evil things. giving my sec2s pushups in batches of 100 is of course something entirely different. cos really it isn't "evil".

19. oh yay I just realised something else. I have a very skewed moral compass. so sometimes I have absolutely no qualms about doing something while at other times I'm like totally against some other things. well of course it comes down to like my criteria that I use to judge things [which sounds so geog-ish and will of course not be revealed here] - so if I feel something is effectively harmless I don't mind doing it.

20. sometimes I put up fronts and stuff. and pretend that things don't affect me/aren't important etc.

21. oh and I could REALLY murder some people right now. XD.

and had some fun discussion with darren last night on how to screw up RJC's timetabling with me taking a really screwed up combi.

well so far what I've been thinking of is

GCME + H1 hist + H1 german if they let me use it to replace MTL. oh and chemRA if they let me get in with such a combi.

but I still HATE declarer play ><. defence is a lot more fun [for me]. just that I keep losing. well either I get negative IMPs or like quite a few [at least 3?] for my side - cos either we don't bid, underbid, or underbid and manage to win the bid, and then I later discover that all the other boards had the opponents making the bid instead [and more often than not winning] i.e. big swing towards us XD.

yeah so I need to improve my bidding. especially since playing 5-card majors I can't bid on a hand with 4-4-4-1 [cos you can't bid NT with such distribution and if I open I can't double for takeout]. well just that 1. I just saw this guy open with 1NT with 4-4-4-1 distribution and eventually go down when his partner raised to something else, and 2. my bloody partner passed my takeout double [bidding went 1H - dbl - all pass ._.] so we went down a LOT. especially since I only had singleton heart.


zzz I bet you can't understand whatever I'm saying. but seriously I'm VERY BAD at contract and I need a LOT more practice. XD.
