school today was quite fun.
math was HORRIBLE. as in the formulae - thankfully he hasn't returned the CCT if not I'd get quite pissed off with how careless I [think] I've been.
then um chem - which was quite nice. especially since how I got 17/19 for the quizzes and I didn't study. XD. then after chem was SS - in which we had a quite fun discussion about stuff. then afterwards hcl which was zzz. but at least I finished my yingyongwen [which was way too short but whatever]. then english - oral presentation! which went quite badly cos I had to impromptu the conclusion and even semen said I was quite nervous.
then lunch and RE [which was quite boring]. and I should really stop playing bridge in school.
then went to SR3 to carry laptops back for mrs ang and bumped into mrs yak so in the end we spent about an hour planning stuff for the welcome tea. and drafting an announcement! [and missing muster parade in the process =D]
then off to RC. had some FA with those disgusting sec2s. but then got called off by OWL and then spent 1h30min discussing about heritage. ugh.
and it's really confusing.
but today was quite slack. just that I brought too much stuff [3 bags] so I nearly died. thankfully I got a lift home though.

just realised that I'm not posting as often as I used to.
well I guess cos my memory's going.
orI'm just too busy.
well I'm either
1. always busy or
2. never busy
depending on how you look at it. cos I'm always busy as I have a LOT of work to do. but then again I'm never busy since I never get any work done and waste my time blogsurfing/playing bridge online and all other sorts of random stuff =D.
so I can't remember much about what happened today.
well actually I can. so hold on.
first period monday: math! [boring!] and EC told us that like half the class got below 20 for CCT or something. and no one got full marks [i.e. 32/30]. but then the rest of the lesson was zzz. and then later he told me that I could have gotten full marks had I not been careless - but then again I don't care =D.
oh and like now our class has [or rather I have] this tradition of writing "happy birthday mr eddie" on the whiteboard every morning [cos after all he says his birthday is everyday] - and then sometimes we even sing happy birthday to him! so well monday so happened to be two days after wenjun's birthday so ben told me to append wenjun's name as I was writing the birthday greetings. so it looked something like "happy birthday mr eddie/wenjun" then EC was like "mr eddie wenjun" then of course [thanks to PN] I went "mr eddie SLASH wenjun" and obviously 4H/ben went on to stroke etc. zzz.
ok after math was geog. which was BORING especially since kirk/shek/benmak were doing all the talking. so darren and I got really bored and started doing other stuff. so um darren got his math worksheet confiscated and I got my economist confiscated too ._. just that darren got his worksheets back at the end of the lesson.
then after recess was HCL - supposed to finish the yingyongwen by that lesson but even ZHAOLIAN couldn't finish it so she took it back and said that she'll give it to us next lesson.
then after HCL philo. which was quite fun. especially with coming up with a totally MASSIVE argument diagram [and it isn't even half done]. then in between philo and english well xiuzhen walked out of the class and crashed into/knocked down PLH who happened to be walking past. wow. then english was ERP presentations which were quite interesting.
after english was CLE. watched a [heavily abridged] version of Shackleton's Arctic Adventure [my spellchecker recognises the first two words as typos unless I capitalise them] - which we happened to see way back in sec2. So darren and I had quite a bit of fun spoiling the plot for everyone.
then went off to SR3 to meet a whole bunch of geog teachers to discuss GC. so in the end the discussion ended at 430 [and I was supposed to have 2h of lessons with RC sec2s so I was VERY late]. And during RC I ended up losing my voice [well not really losing but it was quite bad] cos I kept shouting at those horrible sec2s. I need more practice.
then today... PE: tennis is quite fun just that I have a VERY strong feeling that I'll fail it cos I can't seem to hit the ball properly [if I even hit it at all] - and I'm playing it the way I play badminton. well I'm hopeless at all ball games anyway. ha.
math - wasted more time, but EC's rushing through stuff so it wasn't THAT much of a waste. and CCT still not returned yet. bleh. then GEOG. well today we had a better discussion cos the prefects weren't there.
then phy: got back the HORRIBLE quiz but still managed to get 9/10 cos I somehow managed to smoke through those kinetic model questions. and so I only lost one mark cos I screwed up the piston thing [F1/A1 = F2/A2 became F1A1 = F2A2 ._.]
then PI, which was with the sec1s in the auditorium: EPIC FAIL.
well first when they showed the video the camera was still pointing at the rostrum. so we were laughing a lot. eh wait before that staff procession like half the auditorium stood up and half didn't. so we didn't know what to do. and then the sec1s were all clapping in time to the music.
then jeson/darren/I were all laughing at the GOH's speech especially some of his comments about prefects. which we knew were totally wrong. and we were also laughing at the introduction to each department in RIPB. oh and we left like at the start of d'souza's speech. so we didn't get to laugh at it. oh and during the investiture like noone was paying attention. so mrs chong [who happened to be seated in front of us - we were on the floor since there was no space] kept turning back and giving us THAT look.
oh and german day was FUN!
especially since my class was the only sec4 class there.

let the water come and carry us away
ugh REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY tired today.
and I didn't even get to do any work this weekend.
instead managed to maple a bit. and spent quite a lot of time on BBO. well at least now bridge is more fun [just that I can't seem to remember all the conventions - I think I just need more practice] especially since I'm not partnering alan/telling each other our HANDS online ._.
but I still HATE declarer play ><. defence is a lot more fun [for me]. just that I keep losing. well either I get negative IMPs or like quite a few [at least 3?] for my side - cos either we don't bid, underbid, or underbid and manage to win the bid, and then I later discover that all the other boards had the opponents making the bid instead [and more often than not winning] i.e. big swing towards us XD.
yeah so I need to improve my bidding. especially since playing 5-card majors I can't bid on a hand with 4-4-4-1 [cos you can't bid NT with such distribution and if I open I can't double for takeout]. well just that 1. I just saw this guy open with 1NT with 4-4-4-1 distribution and eventually go down when his partner raised to something else, and 2. my bloody partner passed my takeout double [bidding went 1H - dbl - all pass ._.] so we went down a LOT. especially since I only had singleton heart.
zzz I bet you can't understand whatever I'm saying. but seriously I'm VERY BAD at contract and I need a LOT more practice. XD.

rambling
hmm for some strange reason I keep thinking/wondering about subject combinations in RJ [RIJC has some weird ring to it. ugh]
dunno I can't decide between GCME and GCMG [2nd G being german].
and of course if I should add a H behind.
but then again I feel like dropping math. cos although I can do [relatively] well in math well I'm not enjoying it at all...
and then I'll end up with something damn screwed up like GGEC. or GGECH. and I wonder if I'll get humans scholarship that way. XD.
but seriously I also don't know if I should drop bio or not. cos I'm still split between the sciences and the humanities. and I think I'm like the only guy with this problem - like most of the geogRA people are going to either drop geog or go all humans [i.e. darren] or even BCMG but that's still science. then chemRA people will obviously be taking something like BCME/PCME.

after the funeral
bleh haven't done any elearning at all this week cos I was either
1. at a funeral or
2. mapling ._.
well actually my grandmother passed away on friday morning [got the sms during bio lesson]
so the cremation was today [which meant that I didn't get to miss school XD] yeah but seriously it was quite sad.
but I didn't cry.
so sue me.
and anyway well the past few days were the wake [with those rituals dragging till 11pm or later - thankfully I didn't have to take part]. except for the procession where we walked [IN SOCKS, no shoes allowed plus it just rained] from the house to like near the MRT station and then got onto the bus which brought us to the crematorium etc. and caused a big traffic pile-up along the road.
however this funeral was quite big. and there WAS a lot of noise. and food. I seriously ate too much.

300! [NOT factorial XD]
lol finally hit 300 after about 1½ years.
and well I dunno I think my blog is very boring. cos the only thing I can talk about COMPETENTLY is school/stupid/retarded things that rascal/aaron/daniel/I do in school etc. so like compared to some/most other blogs I can't emo very well. or contemplate for that matter.
but whatever.
five free periods this week! [3x Math 1x Bio and 1x CLE - actually I was supposed to have six just that today we had a math relief]. apparently EC's wife just gave birth. so anyway we're like damn behind time for math [and CLE XD - cos we missed this week's CLE lesson AND last week's cos he had a tennis match and the week before was CNY week = no CLE etc]
well today... math was just going through ws 3, and well proving trigo identities are EVIL. cos most of the time I end up resorting to simplifying LHS AND RHS at the same time and joining both together. XD.
then bio which was the pract which was quite fun. but I couldn't answer some of the questions but whatever. then english - lesson observation by 2 HODs ._. then cle = free period, practised more trigo/folded a few cranes.
then physics, the quiz went alright [after all it IS physics and I'm hoping for 80% - or else I'll drop it before the end of the year XD] just that I MIXED UP THE STUPID FORMULA FOR HYDRAULIC JACKS or whatever [supposedly force/area = force/area but I did force*area = force*area so I got a ridiculously low answer - about 10000000 times less than the correct one ._.]
then chemRA - more titrations which went quite horribly. but of course now I've gotten better at faking my results XD.
then went back home and here I am now.

299/almost there!
only 1 free period on tues/wed. cos EC still wasn't in school XD.
first period tues - philo! which was quite fun. then math [free period XD]. then HCL which was spent talking with taiwan students and doing chengyu stuff. and we taught NY how to fold cranes =D. then physics where he came late and ended late etc. just that thermodynamics SEEMS very simple. for now. and physics quiz tomorrow! ugh.
then PE [cos it got switched with assembly. and so like I dragged all my stuff to the gym and at the end of the lesson I found that my german textbook was missing. so either I dropped it somewhere OR 4M/that random sec1 class in the gym koped it ._. and I still haven't found it T.T]. and I FINALLY managed to get to the top of the wall. although that wall was damn easy.
then went to laminate stuff for raffles trail. just that we managed to spoil the laminating machine AND a window. XD. but mr say was damn nice to us. =D
then german which was quite ok just that I keep missing lessons. and I still can't get used to her teaching style.
then it rained when I was walking from german to the bus-stop. well it was quite nice cos my socks didn't get wet. and I don't mind walking in the rain as long as my socks remain dry XD.

then wed - first period PE. so I only climbed once [one lesson I climbed four times but today we only had 3 ropes so there was quite a queue etc] then ANOTHER free period. so we went to RJC for recess and came back late XD. then HCL - more chengyu. and it was really quite slack.
chem in lab - chemical energetics, KSP demonstrated thermit rxn which was damn cool. then geog - where she spent an hour talking and like when the bell rang she was like oh no I haven't started on what I wanted to teach ._.
then RE was boring. as usual. just that joel wasn't there XD. then CCA was spent teaching and teaching and more teaching. ugh.
zzz I'm bored now and I just realised that I haven't played maple in about 3 days.

298/whatever
zzz I've like stopped JUST BEFORE #300.
but anyway I've been too busy on maple/other work to blog ><
[well actually too busy slacking XD] cos sometimes I don't even have enough time for maple. like today somehow I managed to waste 1hr looking at random articles on wiki. AGAIN.
anyway school today - ANOTHER double free period [math, bio - just that PLH came in to give us our math TA and promptly walked out after that]. seems like our teachers love to take MCs in pairs or something.
so anyway HCL was [more] COI which was really horrible cos it's like taking my best subject and doing it in my worst language. so like I had quite a few things to say but then I wasn't able to express it. zzz.
oh and I learnt to fold cranes from aaron during KSP's lesson! and KSP was like "should I throw the two of you out" but in the end he didn't and we just went on folding. then after HCL was english so quite a bit of sick stuff going on - e.g. what starts with 'b' and ends with 'e', and this one from me - starts with 'a' and ends with 'o' - doubt that you'll guess anyway - and just more talking.
then math was [relatively] free, just that I almost freaked out at the start of the TA. but then managed to calm down and finish with 5 min to spare. =D. then free after that so I went to bookshop to buy origami paper. and then 4H started folding cranes - we only managed to finish 60 of them during both free periods though [cos we spent quite a bit of time teaching]
so bio was free. and then after that geog [managed to fold a few cranes] and well we did our presentations/crapped up a lot/a bit depending on who you ask. then lunch. then SS which was damn fun - watched a vid and the rest of the time we were supposed to be reading our readings but we ended up talking about stuff like sunnis/shiites and UWA trip and KSP and teaching as a career and all sorts of weird stuff. haha. SS is fun!
