WOKE UP AT 0545 [stupid alarm clock which was supposed to ring at 0445 but after I hit snooze it only rang 1hr later], managed to get to chinatown at 0640. so anyway after filming we got back to RI at 1100, left school at 1850 [!!!], got to church and got home at 2300. then went on msn and discovered that I had to be at school again the next morning.

ugh.

sat
woke up at about 0645, got to school at 0730 and stayed there until about 1720. then rushed off for a piano LESSON which was damn boring cos [in case you haven't realised] my exam was just over and I REFUSE to do grade 6 theory so I purposely lost the book.

then got home at about 2045.

and woke up at 11am today!
so after/if I finish chem I'll go do that bloody trigo assignment.

and then maybe sleep.

ok haven't posted in quite a while [I think].

camp was bloody slack. and well NCC had mahjong while we were only dotaing. However the rest of the RC people DID order mcdelivery at 1am and well I koped a lot of fries.

yes I know my posts are totally fragmented. but whatever. and my typing is screwing up.

cos I SQUISHED my specs by placing them in between a book. so I bent them back into shape but now they feel damn weird. and I'm tired.

so anyway camp was THE slackest/shortest camp ever. however on day2 we, or rather I, got pwned by RS [and her IMPECCABLE logic - to quote her "with you in charge it's not surprising that this thing happened" - which should be cum hoc IIRC] during a certain wargame cos one of my cadets broke one of those big green pots near the atrium. so let's just say that she totally hates me now. but then the cadets liked the camp so yeah.

got home, slept, woke up, ate dinner, and slept again.

then practised piano and well slacked about.

piano exam today was EPIC FAIL. I screwed up my first 2 pieces [which weren't supposed to screw up/which were supposedly my better ones] and then SOMEHOW I didn't mess up the 3rd one. however I WAS bloody nervous. so like my scales DIED [I managed to turn Eflat major to E major on the way DOWN. and my contrary motion became 3 octaves instead of 2. and for another scale I went 5 octaves ascending and 4 octaves descending]. AURAL was horrible [as expected], and so was sight-reading.

expecting to fail. and since this is the LAST exam [registration for sept closed already] I have to RE-LEARN all my pieces with the 2009/2010 syllabus. damn.


well I could scrape a 100 but that's highly unlikely [especially since I scraped 102 for grade 5 which was IMHO a LOT better than this one].

zzz so after that went to school for geoAd.

and HOORAY I have to wake up at 5am tomorrow to go down to Chinatown for FILMING. ugh.

oh wow I haven't posted in quite a while.

woke up at 1145 today. yay.

and I have a bad feeling about the 4H class blog [that it'll die off after a while, knowing how mugger most of the class is].


and I've been slacking for the past 2 hours or so [after getting a LITTLE work done.]

zzz. now I really should start packing for camp - however I've cut down the packlist quite a bit [no outdoor cooking! yay!] and it's only 1½ days so yay.

ugh sorry for not posting but then these few days have been like horrible.

especially after I screwed my voice - now I have an EVIL cough and runny nose and all that crap. oh and a fever too.

but still ended up going to school [and regretting it]. Finished the english CCT in 40 min ._. but physics prac was horrible especially since my sample was screwed up. cos my answer was way off compared to everyone else's [except clive's - so maybe his sample was screwed up too!]

then the rest of the day was uneventful. and now that it's the holidays all the work is piling up again.

oh man the weather is damn nice. just that it's bloody cold now - must be windchill.

and my eyes are having trouble staying open [perhaps cos I slept at 1am yesterday]. but then just before like I went to sleep and all that last night/this morning I happened to look out of the window and like the whole place was dead [quiet - nothing was moving etc] and it looked so... peaceful? or something. I like staying up late.

well just that when I woke up today I was really quite dead.

first period HCL - NY was rambling about her beloved 4P'07. then of course we were suanning 4P'09. and then she wasted quite a bit of time talking about A-level results and HCL O's. then she went through strategies for compres [and my strategy is just copy everything and pray that it's correct] - and the lesson was over! [CCT timetable is good that it shortens HCL/math lessons.

english was by right a free period, but KSY came in and we ended up having to do our ERP reflections [although some groups haven't finished presenting yet]. so in the end I wrote 6 sides. [leaving lines of course.]

then recess. and then math - wasted more time, EC completed w/s 6 and just as he was about to start on worksheet 7 the bell rang. yay. then HCL CCT.


FAIL!

screwed up zonghe [as usual - just that I have no idea if I really did screw up or not since I don't really know what everything means - so I might end up getting like 12/20 or something]. then spent too much time on the first few questions of the lijie [and mind you we had a 50 mark-paper in 40 min] so left about 9 marks of lijie blank. and crapped some stuff for a 3 mark question [so it's effectively a 0]. and I'm afraid that for the first few questions I copied from the wrong paragraph. but whatever.

and I just realised that if I screw up this test I'll end up with like what a 2.4 for HCL in PR1?

then bio - which wasn't as bad as I expected - and I'll be quite happy with say a 25/30? oh crap haven't done bio elearning.

then geog - zzz. ANWR. [which is QUITE interesting but then she tried to paul's wheel the whole thing and then it failed cos she was like ok skip the points of view/impacts/implications etc]

then SS - slack! cos it was supposed to have been our test.

then training was zzz. nearly lost my voice shouting at those horrible sec1s.

well it's been quite tiring for me today - got home from church at about 3 or so. then worked on camp proposal [cos I have to keep changing the schedule so now it's damn screwed up ._.]. then decided to maple.

so slacked for the next 2-3 hours. =D now that was fun.

then went out for dinner. and ever since I've come back I've been working on that HORRIBLE philo argument tree.

however, 53 premises [and god knows how many sub-conclusions] later, I've FINALLY finished it.

yes I know this is one of the rare times that I've actually finished something TWO days before it was actually due - normally I'm either 1. totally last minute or 2. forget it and let it roll over and over and over. but then I decided to do it today cos tmr would have to be saved to finish my german elearning. and um time for procrastination/blogsurfing/randoming on facebook/MSN.

well actually given that huge backlog of work that I have I think I have everything planned out already - not that I'm going to follow my schedule but it just looks nice having a plan

bleh I'm really bored.
and had some fun discussion with darren last night on how to screw up RJC's timetabling with me taking a really screwed up combi.

well so far what I've been thinking of is

GCME + H1 hist + H1 german if they let me use it to replace MTL. oh and chemRA if they let me get in with such a combi.

GCEGerman + H1 hist [and maybe chemRA]

Humans programme:
LGEC + H1 Hist + H1 german to replace MTL and maybe even chemRA [assuming that I can get in]

whee.

of course darren wants me to take german at H2 but I have no idea.

especially since I think that I really need to rescue my MTL. =D

oh man philo is PAINFUL.

well I've just started on it and I've like given up/decided to procrastinate already.

school: EC swapped our seats during PIT. so now I'm on the right, all the way at the back, in between junyang and wesley. well sadly now I can't copy answers from ryoji and shawn tan during math/hcl/physics anymore. XD

oh and back row of middle column has aaron/darren/semen so it's going to get REALLY noisy.

and I like my seat cos now I can use the laptop under the table - cos I'm seated between 2 people so the teacher can't look underneath. plus my old seat was right next to the aisle in front of the teacher's table.

ok then hcl was zzz. and it's not fun when you don't have ryoji/shawn to copy from.

bio was some revision and some stuff about hormones. and I'm going to fail bio test if I don't revise ._.

then physics - he was quite nice to us [and explained stuff rather well] but then I HATE TEMPERATURE. pressure is so much easier.

then english where we again took very long just to clear one group - spent 40 min on the FIRST michael jackson group. eh wait I just screwed up my timetable: it was hcl then phy then english then bio. so like during phy when the bell rang we all swore that we heard someone say "yes!" - so as expected CCK released us late.

and during bio LHL showed us this video with some REALLY disgusting images. and to make things even better he let us off early for lunch! ._.

hum club welcome tea could have been better [prepared]. but it was quite ok really. and interhouse humans will be FUN!

wow somehow I managed to top the class in a MATH test. but then seriously I could have done better if I didn't screw up that PROBABILITY question [if I had drawn a tree the answer would have been obvious ><]. but 28+2 is good enough. and this is the first time in very very long that I actually managed to get the bonus question right =D so anyway first period bio was quite slack. just that I realised that I should revise for bio more often - especially since it's content spam. bleh.

then math - worksheet 6 is HORRIBLE. well at least it's the last few formulae that we'll be learning. yay.

then um chem which was very much a waste of time. and chem afternoon lesson was also a waste of time especially since I felt like murdering CERTAIN people.

oh and after chem was HCL which was zzz. but chinese is somewhat slacker this year. and after HCL um oh wait there was SS today! I'm getting my entire timetable mixed up. SS was alright - just that shek was answering most of/all the questions. zzz.

zhengyang: one of those non-OIP RLP people [thanks to KSP and RI-NTU immersion] - but then a very nice guy. and also very fun to bully. it was really funny yesterday cos after morning assembly shawn [tan] and I were walking up the stairs and zhengyang was in front so I told shawn that his birthday was tomorrow and shawn was like [in his usual tone of voice] "really ah? oi is your birthday tomorrow?" and zhengyang just daoed him XD. so shawn got louder and well his voice got [even more] annoying - and seriously it was damn funny.

ms stephanie koh wenjun: the guy who stands next to me during morning assembly - or who's supposed to but who's late half the time XD. ok well he's one of those more random/funny people in the class and livens it up quite a bit [especially when he's with our beloved guoxiuzhen. XD]

school today was quite fun.

math was HORRIBLE. as in the formulae - thankfully he hasn't returned the CCT if not I'd get quite pissed off with how careless I [think] I've been.

then um chem - which was quite nice. especially since how I got 17/19 for the quizzes and I didn't study. XD. then after chem was SS - in which we had a quite fun discussion about stuff. then afterwards hcl which was zzz. but at least I finished my yingyongwen [which was way too short but whatever]. then english - oral presentation! which went quite badly cos I had to impromptu the conclusion and even semen said I was quite nervous.

then lunch and RE [which was quite boring]. and I should really stop playing bridge in school.

then went to SR3 to carry laptops back for mrs ang and bumped into mrs yak so in the end we spent about an hour planning stuff for the welcome tea. and drafting an announcement! [and missing muster parade in the process =D]

then off to RC. had some FA with those disgusting sec2s. but then got called off by OWL and then spent 1h30min discussing about heritage. ugh.

and it's really confusing.

but today was quite slack. just that I brought too much stuff [3 bags] so I nearly died. thankfully I got a lift home though.

just realised that I'm not posting as often as I used to.

depending on how you look at it. cos I'm always busy as I have a LOT of work to do. but then again I'm never busy since I never get any work done and waste my time blogsurfing/playing bridge online and all other sorts of random stuff =D.


so I can't remember much about what happened today.
well actually I can. so hold on.

first period monday: math! [boring!] and EC told us that like half the class got below 20 for CCT or something. and no one got full marks [i.e. 32/30]. but then the rest of the lesson was zzz. and then later he told me that I could have gotten full marks had I not been careless - but then again I don't care =D.

oh and like now our class has [or rather I have] this tradition of writing "happy birthday mr eddie" on the whiteboard every morning [cos after all he says his birthday is everyday] - and then sometimes we even sing happy birthday to him! so well monday so happened to be two days after wenjun's birthday so ben told me to append wenjun's name as I was writing the birthday greetings. so it looked something like "happy birthday mr eddie/wenjun" then EC was like "mr eddie wenjun" then of course [thanks to PN] I went "mr eddie SLASH wenjun" and obviously 4H/ben went on to stroke etc. zzz.

ok after math was geog. which was BORING especially since kirk/shek/benmak were doing all the talking. so darren and I got really bored and started doing other stuff. so um darren got his math worksheet confiscated and I got my economist confiscated too ._. just that darren got his worksheets back at the end of the lesson.

then after recess was HCL - supposed to finish the yingyongwen by that lesson but even ZHAOLIAN couldn't finish it so she took it back and said that she'll give it to us next lesson.

then after HCL philo. which was quite fun. especially with coming up with a totally MASSIVE argument diagram [and it isn't even half done]. then in between philo and english well xiuzhen walked out of the class and crashed into/knocked down PLH who happened to be walking past. wow. then english was ERP presentations which were quite interesting.

after english was CLE. watched a [heavily abridged] version of Shackleton's Arctic Adventure [my spellchecker recognises the first two words as typos unless I capitalise them] - which we happened to see way back in sec2. So darren and I had quite a bit of fun spoiling the plot for everyone.

then went off to SR3 to meet a whole bunch of geog teachers to discuss GC. so in the end the discussion ended at 430 [and I was supposed to have 2h of lessons with RC sec2s so I was VERY late]. And during RC I ended up losing my voice [well not really losing but it was quite bad] cos I kept shouting at those horrible sec2s. I need more practice.

then today... PE: tennis is quite fun just that I have a VERY strong feeling that I'll fail it cos I can't seem to hit the ball properly [if I even hit it at all] - and I'm playing it the way I play badminton. well I'm hopeless at all ball games anyway. ha.

math - wasted more time, but EC's rushing through stuff so it wasn't THAT much of a waste. and CCT still not returned yet. bleh. then GEOG. well today we had a better discussion cos the prefects weren't there.

then phy: got back the HORRIBLE quiz but still managed to get 9/10 cos I somehow managed to smoke through those kinetic model questions. and so I only lost one mark cos I screwed up the piston thing [F1/A1 = F2/A2 became F1A1 = F2A2 ._.]

then PI, which was with the sec1s in the auditorium: EPIC FAIL.

well first when they showed the video the camera was still pointing at the rostrum. so we were laughing a lot. eh wait before that staff procession like half the auditorium stood up and half didn't. so we didn't know what to do. and then the sec1s were all clapping in time to the music.

then jeson/darren/I were all laughing at the GOH's speech especially some of his comments about prefects. which we knew were totally wrong. and we were also laughing at the introduction to each department in RIPB. oh and we left like at the start of d'souza's speech. so we didn't get to laugh at it. oh and during the investiture like noone was paying attention. so mrs chong [who happened to be seated in front of us - we were on the floor since there was no space] kept turning back and giving us THAT look.

oh and german day was FUN!

especially since my class was the only sec4 class there.

ugh REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY tired today.

and I didn't even get to do any work this weekend.

instead managed to maple a bit. and spent quite a lot of time on BBO. well at least now bridge is more fun [just that I can't seem to remember all the conventions - I think I just need more practice] especially since I'm not partnering alan/telling each other our HANDS online ._.

but I still HATE declarer play ><. defence is a lot more fun [for me]. just that I keep losing. well either I get negative IMPs or like quite a few [at least 3?] for my side - cos either we don't bid, underbid, or underbid and manage to win the bid, and then I later discover that all the other boards had the opponents making the bid instead [and more often than not winning] i.e. big swing towards us XD.

yeah so I need to improve my bidding. especially since playing 5-card majors I can't bid on a hand with 4-4-4-1 [cos you can't bid NT with such distribution and if I open I can't double for takeout]. well just that 1. I just saw this guy open with 1NT with 4-4-4-1 distribution and eventually go down when his partner raised to something else, and 2. my bloody partner passed my takeout double [bidding went 1H - dbl - all pass ._.] so we went down a LOT. especially since I only had singleton heart.


zzz I bet you can't understand whatever I'm saying. but seriously I'm VERY BAD at contract and I need a LOT more practice. XD.

yeah but practice comes at the cost of my not doing any homework [not like I do anything but still]. so stuff keeps PILING UP! whee.



and I think I'm going to be very stressed say midweek.
